Training and courses
Safety Training, First Aid Training, Natural Horsemanship
What would you do if you saw flames or smelt smoke? Do you know where the nearest fire extinguisher is, what type it is and would you know how to operate it? And what if someone at the Centre slipped and broke his leg, got into any accident, or maybe suddenly suffered a heart attack or got very ill?
Now that we have done updates on our Safety Training and First Aid Training, our staff and volunteers can answer every one of those questions!
The First Aid Training was provided by the New Zealand Red Cross and the Safety Training by Summit Systems Limited. Thank you all for your help and patience!
Ian Benson has travelled to Germany several times last year and this year, working with some of the top dressage stables, and he very kindly fitted in some more Natural Horsemanship training for our staff and volunteers in basic horse handling, leading, sidewalking and even single rein riding with rope halters only. Ian's courses are always very well attended, are a lot of fun but also jolly hard work. If you would like some help with your horse, contact Ian on 09 432 0565 or 021 047 4614, or you can email at info@true-humanship.com.
